Job Overview:

As a People Operations Partner you will help define new and evolved processes, partnering closely with the People Experience team to promote a smooth and positive employee experience. Incumbent will ensure we maintain data integrity across systems with a continuous improvement and problem solving mindset. Aid in the development of consistent and unified processes and programs across all of Cambium to create a positive employee and manager experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Orientation & HRIS Onboarding Support - Serve as the liaison for orientation programs, administer the new hire survey process, continuous improvement and delivery communications to new hire and hiring managers regarding orientation sessions. Process new hire compliance items such as I-9’s and background checks and HRIS data entry.
  • Develop in partnership with People Experience stakeholders all employee and manager communications coming from group mailbox, including monthly HR newsletter
  • Development Intranet site content in partnership with stakeholders including evaluating Intranet content for ease of use to increase user adoption of available materials.
  • Partner closely with the entire People Experience team to support people programs.
  • Participate and contribute to the proactive review and implementation of process improvements. Work in cross functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Key involvement in the employee data audit process including validation of data for benefits & payroll. Including understanding of the downstream impacts of HR data on these areas.
  • Support HR systems by identifying process improvements, assisting with updates and testing new features
  • Serve as an employee-facing point of contact for ad-hoc inquiries & communication from the Shared Services ticketing tool. Provide seamless and client focused support, responding to questions and resolving issues timely, throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Identifies employee-impacting issues and escalates to People Experience Partners. 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years in a Human Resources role, in particular in supporting orientation programs
  • Experience supporting ongoing processes or programs with a high-level of conscientiousness and attention to detail
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects and processes, in addition to ad hoc employee questions and issues as they arise
  • Strong communication, influencing and writing skills with the ability to engage and support others in a reliable and consistent way
  • Manages confidential and sensitive employee information and adheres to strict data privacy standards.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, processes, and systems in a multi-state environment preferred
  • Experience developing orientation and onboarding programs in a multi-state remote environment
  • Proven experience with Workday HRIS system preferred
