General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):
BeiGene is seeking a talented and innovative student to join our HR department for an 8–12-week Virtual Internship Opportunity. As an HR Intern, you will be exposed to many different areas of HR: HRIS & HR Operations, Benefits & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, and other areas. The ideal Intern will have taken coursework in at least three (3) of the above areas with a general knowledge of Human Resources and its role within a business.
The intern will be exposed to a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working side by side with experienced HR Professionals to develop knowledge and skills which will enhance the intern’s educational experience and set them up for success upon completion of their Degree/Certificate Program.

Essential Functions of the Internship:
Projects May Include:
- Responsible for the Intern Program Networking Sessions. Will organize buddy program with ~40 summer interns.
- Understand the Workday recruitment life cycle.
- Audit the company ecosystem of past hires via data entry in Workday.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Certificate program, having completed at least 12 semester/16 quarter units within the HR Discipline with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- You show a strong passion for building a career in Human Resources
- Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Scheduling Functions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Scheduling Functions

Pay Rate:
Undergrad $27/hr
Masters $38/hr
PhD $40/hr
