What This Role Is

Our Talent Learning team is strategically focused on strengthening organizational capability and cultivating an engaged workforce to cultivate a performance inspired culture, together with ensuring excellent employee experience.

Within the team, Talent leads are responsible for driving state of the art programs in the field of performance management and career development, leadership development, succession planning and talent reviews.

We are looking for a Talent Manager focusing on Leadership Development to design initiatives that cultivate the skills, behaviors and growth mindset aligned to our strategy and One Genesys Values, to help Genesys managers and leaders foster a high performing culture.

Some Details About What You’ll Do

In this role, you will have the end-to-end responsibility for Leadership Development from need definition and prioritization, design through follow through, including implementation, enablement, ongoing governance, and process evolution. You will

  • Define Genesys’ framework and approach on leadership development, including and not limited to segmentation of the leadership population, content, delivery strategy
  • Help develop the leadership and people managers communities
  • Continue bringing to life Role of the People Manager
  • Create leadership development programs for our key audiences
  • Building tools on executive development, coaching and onboarding.
  • Provide thought leadership, expertise, and inspiration for your area of responsibility
  • Build trusting and consultative relationships with senior leaders, HRBPs and other key stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • Partner effectively with other teams within Talent and Learning, namely Learning and Employee Experience.
  • Design and facilitate workshops and focus groups
  • Leverage data to generate insights, create adoption strategy and measure impact of initiatives

You will work closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify strategic needs and deliver creative solutions through enabling or partnering with HRBPs in the delivery. You’ll report to the Talent Organizational Development Senior Director and will be supported in your projects by the broader T L team.

The role is US based (flexible or virtual, depending of location and preference) and includes deep collaboration and work with Central European Time zone where part of the team is based.

What You’ll Bring to The Table

You will bring expertise, thought leadership, innovative ideas, and practices on Leadership Development to inspire our leaders and enable them to deliver on our strategy and culture.

We are looking for you to have passion for strategic talent management, be technically adept at your craft, and possess fantastic influencing skills to ensure we have the right leadership capabilities aligned to our culture and our strategy. You should be self-driven and have the capability and confidence to interface effectively with senior leaders, members of the HR team, and multiple stakeholders throughout the company driving the implementation of critical talent initiatives. You have demonstrated the ability to lead project teams and influence across the organization.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Talent, Human Capital or HR Consulting with a minimum of 7 years in the field of leadership development
  • Preferably graduate degree or equivalent years of experience in HR, OD or Talent Management.
  • Experience in fast-pace high-growth environment preferably in a global tech company, undergoing significant transformation.
  • Demonstrated credibility and customer service, including executive presence and relationship building skills (interacting with Executives, Senior Leaders, and HR Leaders).
  • Thorough business and HR acumen, including problem solving, and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale program management.
  • Highly developed critical thinking skills to generate talent insights through data, to enable the design and implementation of outstanding and strategic talent management solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $104,650 - $217,350. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
