Your opportunity
New Relic is looking for a People Operations Specialist to join the PeopleOps team! This role will have the opportunity to join a transformational project of setting up the Global Shared Services and make an impact through your work by responding to inquiries on various People topics and working on various People-related processes. You will gain exposure to all facets of HR helping you to grow your career in your position. This role will be reporting to the Manager, People Operations. We are looking for someone with high energy and passion to make a positive work environment to transform our business!
Opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on the applicant's location.
What you'll do
- Assign and respond to employee inquiries, resolving most tickets within 24 - 48 hours
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and other People Team partners on People policies and/or processes using PeopleOps procedures, policies, knowledge management system, and other reference materials
- Provide tier 1 support for HR applications, benefits, compensation, staffing, and other HR programs
- Support the new hires process, orientation sessions, and data changes in Workday
- Maintain employee files as needed
This role requires
- 1 - 2 years of related administrative experience
- Experience with ticketing systems is highly desired
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and strong prioritization skills
- Self-motivated to complete various tasks in a timely manner
- Must have outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and utilize appropriate tact and integrity
Bonus points if you have
- Strong proficiency using G-Suite (including Google Slides, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS and CRM systems (Workday, Asana, and Zendesk)

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 58,000 - $ 62,400
Consistent with New Relic's values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. The base pay range above represents a good faith estimate of the low and high end base pay range for the listed position. This role may be eligible for the corporate bonus plan (or, if a sales role, a commission plan as defined in the sales incentive plan document), participation in our stock equity plan, short- and long-term incentives, and other department-specific awards that may be applicable. In addition, New Relic provides a variety of benefits to employees. The range provided may also represent candidate ranges and may not reflect the full range or geographic differential for an individual tenured employee.
