Overview

Ferrellgas is looking for a TA Coordinator to join the Corporate team! This position will facilitate the hiring of candidates through the recruitment and onboarding process. This position will be an integral part of our recruiting team, by working closely with Talent Partners and Hiring Managers, to ensure candidates have a positive experience. You will manage the administrative hiring activities, such as; creating job offers, processing background checks, scheduling drug tests and other DOT pre-employment approvals. This position is 100% remote and hours are Full-Time, Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tracking hires pre-employment process via reports (Excel & Smartsheet)
  • Works closely with TA vendors, to process background checks, drugs screen and DOT approvals
  • Works directly with TA Partners regarding offer requests, hiring approvals and provide pending hiring updates as needed
  • Provides follow-up correspondence to candidates and/or hiring managers on recruiting status via phone, email and text
  • Manages the post offer testing process including background checks, pre-employment drug tests, and other tests as needed.
  • Assists with employee referral tracking and payment processing.
  • Assists with TA department invoices.
  • Responsible for tracking and completion of I9’s and onboarding related documents.
  • Assists with processing highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Partners with recruiting team on department projects and initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Works collaboratively with other HR Departments, Safety, and Accounting.
  • Sends weekly Positions Vacancy Announcements in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resources administrative role or customer service role
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Smartsheet.
