As the Head of Executive Search, you will shape the global senior leadership hiring strategy, process, and deliver the results behind our talented and diverse teams. The needs of our clients are varied, complex, and global in scope. 

Reporting directly into our Global Head of Talent Acquisition, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Recruiting leader to join our global talent organization. As we continue to grow and scale, you will be key in helping us structure and evolve our Recruiting team to ensure everything is moving in the right direction and in line with business priorities as we ensure an exceptional experience to our candidates, clients and colleagues.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build out the executive search function and operationalize a consistent and scalable approach to TripAction’s global executive search strategy
  • Build, manage, develop, and empower a high-performing geographically dispersed team of executive recruiters
  • Inspire 
  • Inspire, Coach, advise, and mentor your team members as they partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand hiring needs and develop creative strategies for engaging top of funnel talent across multiple disciplines 
  • Coach and influence executive staff and our board 
  • Personally manage certain confidential high-level executive searches
  • Partner with Executive leadership to intimately understand their respective business areas, opportunities, and future growth plans
  • Attend and present at board meetings 
  • Deeply understand the market and proactively build and maintain a pipeline of executives relevant to our business and growth plans
  • Be a strong culture and brand ambassador internally as well as externally

What We’re Looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience highly strategic Talent Attraction leadership
  • Previous experience in hands-on executive recruiting, as well as history of building out and a well-structured in-house executive search function 
  • Significant leadership recruiting background with agencies and search firms, either as an agency employee or an in-house client partner
  • Mastery of technical recruiting tools such as; ATS (we use Greenhouse), Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, and overall strong reporting skills
  • Strong talent advisor approach with proven ability to quickly build positive trusting relationships with all stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, People Support Business Partners, Executive Leadership, etc.) required
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced high growth environment (Pre-IPO a bonus)
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills with experience presenting to executive staff and board level members
  • Confidence to partner and advise c-suite executives
