The HR Team at Insomniac Games is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Culture and Belonging Specialist to join our team. As the Senior Culture and Belonging Specialist you will be responsible for contributing to studio success by facilitating the planning, execution, and evaluation of Inclusion and Diversity initiatives and programs. The Culture and Belonging specialist will partner with cross-functional groups, the senior leadership team, the Inclusion Council, employee resource groups (ERGs and at Sony Interactive Entertainment, we call them eNets), and other stakeholders to understand opportunities, tailoring the program/project plans and leading change management to address studio needs. If this sounds like you, read on!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Partners with Manager of Culture and Belonging to execute strategies aligned with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging priorities and studio Culture and Belonging strategies
  • Acts as an ambassador and advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives across the studio
  • Researches, benchmarks, develops and delivers Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives throughout the studio 
  • Leads, implements, and maintains tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact and ROI of programs; develops reports on program effectiveness and makes recommendations for program enhancement and improvement
  • Leads integration of Inclusion councils across the studio, connecting a broader DEIB Ecosystem including the ERGs and SLT
  • Collaborates with Employee Resource Group leadership, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and HR People Partners to develop and execute strategies for retention, engagement, and promotion of diverse talent
  • Manages and updates the annual calendar of all DEI-related events and activities as directed by the Manager, Culture and Belonging
  • Works alongside Talent Development Team to design training on both diversity and cross-cultural awareness topics
  • Focuses on strengthening employee engagement through action planning following ongoing employee engagement surveys
  • Conducts needs assessments to inform program design or updates
  • Coordinates with the People Experience Team to understand and align with internal capacity building efforts related to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion, including possibly participating as a member of the internal Inclusion Council
  • Serves as primary point of contact for vendor relationships and maintain contractual agreements where appropriate
  • Facilitates and/or provide training to studio, including new hire onboarding, management training, and mentorship of employees in under-represented/protected categories
  • Acts as a project manager for other assigned projects that support DEI goals and objectives
  • Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Experience influencing without direct authority
  • Experience creating DEI outcomes in a complex, large-scale, geographically dispersed organization
  • Experience executing on and leading large-scale or company-wide initiatives
  • Prior administrative support experience or similar relevant experience
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and other HRIS related software, such as Workday, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle

Other Skills: 

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at any given time with strong organizational skills and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both in oral and written form a must
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to develop ideas into executable plans
  • Ability to distill complicated, technical information into easy-to-understand language
