About The Job
As Blue Bottle continues to write a new chapter to the traditions of coffee and hospitality, our Sr. People Ops (HRIS) Analyst will play a key role in supporting our exceptional growth. This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and driving optimization in our HRIS platform, UKG. In addition, as part of the broader People team, this role will gain visibility and contribute to broader team initiatives as we scale the function.
You Will
- Provide technical expertise in our UKG instance, executing end-to-end support, such as testing, configuration, optimizations, and integrations
- Provide high-end support for users, including researching & resolving issues, and recommending practical solutions to meet stakeholder needs
- Develop standard operating procedures and project analysis documentation which can be shared with the organization to train users on new processes and system functionality
- Identify & implement cost and time-saving strategies, such as systems integrations, automated report building, and HRIS-based dashboards
- Drive periodic & ad hoc reporting on employee data, both internally to leadership and externally to local, state & federal agencies
- Provide project management for system improvements, including managing project teams, developing & delivering communications, and completing on time
- Mitigate risk by auditing system process workflow and access, as well as data integrity via integration or manual entry
- Provide exemplary customer service and hospitality in every interaction with fellow Blue Bottlers. Support the company in any way possible to ensure a successful and fulfilling work experience for everyone
You Are
- Able to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make recommendations or decisions, even when starting from scratch
- Able to work independently and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

You Have
- 7+ years experience in People Systems (HRIS) support and administration, ideally in larger and progressive organizations; experience with retail or hospitality industries is a plus
- Progressive experience providing user support in a networked environment
- In-depth experience with UKG Ready (previously known as Kronos Workforce Ready), including functional and configuration knowledge, and HR business processes
- The ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact, and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - you’re able to effectively communicate what we are doing and why we are doing it in layman's terms
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Google Suite (e.g., Sheets, Slides, Docs)
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment
- Proven ability to exercise excellent judgment and discretion
